Joining one of our Barcelona tours is easy. Simply click on the different tours at the top of the website, or scroll down the page.
We offer private Barcelona tours on historical, art history, literary, cultural and culinary themes.
To give you an authentic feel for the vibrant life of the city, our tours take place on the streets and squares of Barcelona. All monuments and landmarks are admired from the outside, unless you have specifically requested an interior visit — which is of course possible on a private tour.
On private tours we travel on foot, and by car or minibus if desired. Interior visits are also available on private Barcelona tours.
Booking a Private Tour:
All tours in our menu can be booked as a private activity — exclusively for your group. The price shown is for the whole group. To book one of our Barcelona activities as a private tour, please send us a booking request via the Contact page.
Meeting Point:
Please make sure you are heading to the correct meeting point.
Read the description of your chosen tour before setting off — it tells you exactly where we meet.
All meeting points are easy to find: they are centrally located and always close to a metro station.
You will recognise your tour guide by our blue dragon logo.
For private tours, hotel pick-up is also available.
Languages:
We offer our private tours in English, Spanish, French and Catalan.
Duration and Fitness:
Most of our tours last between 3 and 4.5 hours depending on the theme. The Barcelona Highlights Tour can take up to 5 hours. Day trips by bus may last up to 12 hours depending on the route.
If you are fit enough for a shopping trip, you are fit enough for our tours. There are no hills to climb and no endless staircases. Since we travel on foot, comfortable footwear is recommended.
Accessibility:
Some of our tours are designed to be fully accessible. Wheelchair users are welcome on these tours, as we walk on level ground throughout with no steps involved.
On some tours, however, we do pass through underpasses, climb a few steps, or cross uneven paths in parks. Occasionally we use metro stations where the platform is only accessible by escalator.
We recommend reading the description of each individual tour, where it is indicated whether the tour is suitable for wheelchair users.
Breaks:
Our tours are leisurely walks — we never rush. There is always time to stop for photos, and a comfort break is included on every tour.
Weather:
Our Barcelona tours run in all weathers. We show you the city in sunshine, wind and rain. Even heavy showers won't stop us.
What to Wear:
Barcelona's mild Mediterranean climate is a delight. That said, summers can get genuinely hot, and in winter a cold wind occasionally blows through the city.
In the summer months, don't forget sunglasses, a hat and sunscreen. A small water bottle is also a good idea.
In winter, a jacket or light coat is usually sufficient — though temperatures can occasionally dip below 10°C, at which point even the most sun-spoiled Barcelona residents reach for their padded winter jackets.
Best advice: stick your hand out of the window and judge for yourself.
